The kids got gift certificates to the movies from their grandmother for Christmas. So we went to Arundel Mills and saw a show. Movie theaters have changed. Check out these seats. The matinee was clearly a popular time to go. We had a blast though. Saw Sonic 3. Gonna go back in a few weeks to see the new Marvel Captain America movie with the Red Hulk.
What a blessing it is to have a full house. Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
We are so blessed that all 7 kids are in the house right now, ranging from 3 years to 22 years. Days are crazy and hectic. It is easy not to stop and recognize just how fortunate we are.
My hair is thinning. The house always looks like a hurricane came through. Belly getting bigger. I am working long hours. Damn near impossible for me to run a mile these days. It is tough to keep up. But I get to go through it next to this beauty. And I get to watch these wonderful kids grow up, struggle, thrive and keep moving forward. It makes my heart full. And I am grateful.
I am so proud of Maggie. I have coached her now for several years. She is a joy to coach. She is a good teammate, works really hard, and has a great attitude. It is easy for me as a coach to talk with her about the game, and she understands the game at a high level. I am happy that she will be playing for a coach with such experience as Coach Tracy. Mags is very excited and Marcia and I are very proud and excited to watch her and support her and her team.
Well, it wasn’t much of a question for me. Jack told me at the beginning of the year he had never seen me with a beard. I realized I hadn’t grown one in over twenty years. So, I said, “let’s go!” I said I would give it two weeks. And I did.
But then I let it go. I like the smooth on my face.
