Not much has been able to slow down this crew lately, until the kids got sick. First Luke… then Noah. I thought we were done. A few sleepless nights getting up with the boys to throw up. No big deal. Neither one complained just vomited and went back to bed. But then Eden, Elizabeth and Jack all got sick at the same time. What a nightmare. Maggie still standing … for now.
This adventure was so much fun! There were so many people and the slide there was so fast. I even made a friend there. The high dive was so high and I jumped off it so many times. I even went on a poop deck that sank when these men got on one side.
Luke had a blast at the water park.
The water totally tired me out.

On July 21, 2012, the Kennedys took a grand adventure to Luray, VA and the Shenandoah Valley National Park. Eden, Elizabeth, Mom and Dad each had cameras to capture the fun and the sights. These are pictures from inside Luray Caverns.

That’s right. Cascade Lake. $80 for the carload to enter. The kids had a ball. They had a lake, some slides, some diving platforms, and a “poop deck”.
The highlights: Eden, Liz and I went down the Miracle Slide. Liz and I jumped off of the high dive. It was about 15 feet up. And yes, I did land on a girl below.

I was too afraid to look down, so I just jumped. Oops.
There was also a little splash and spray area for the little kids. 4 hours. $80. I think we can chalk this one up as an “adventure”. But, I’m not sure if we’ll be back.

Today, we were at Cascade Lake. Adventure number 4. I went on a huge slide called Miracle Slide. It was really fun. It’s not as scary as it looks.
I went to the diving boards and I went off the platform. I passed my swimming test. It was kind of hard. But I made it.
The bracelet was the color pink. I lost my goggles on the way. Good thing my dad was there with me, because he got them when I finished. I barely made it.
Noah went down the little slide. When he got home, he threw up lots of times. Poor Noah.
